Soil Surface Emission Chamber is an accessory that RAD7 uses to measure the radon remission rate on the surface of soil or building materials. It is a gasless, non-radiant, insoluble radon material made of radon cover, the surrounding airtight material sealed.

Radon from the surface of the media is collected by the chamber, and its concentration increases with time and finally reaches equilibrium. The radon concentration is against time. And then use RAD7 to measure the change of radon concentration that can be calculated according to the volume of chamber, bottom area of chamber and time.
